Being right off the water, the goal of the design was to compliment the views. A cozy sectional faces the window leading out to the harbor and the workspace faces that same gorgeous view. The desk is a modern wood and brass piece paired with a gray leather slope chair. I incorporated texture by adding a jute rug by the sofa, under a wood base coffee table. The throw pillows added a fun, layered element to the design – a layering of colors, patterns and textures. In the vignette off to the left, I embraced the challenge of sloped walls and simply placed the artwork against the wall making it a focal point when you enter the room. The black and brass floor lamp is a chic addition for reading nights in.
